A CULTURAL CENTER is a building that promotes culture and arts. Cultural centers can be neighborhood community arts organizations, private facilities, government-sponsored, or activist-run.
My main purpose was to make a social place that can connect and educate people about the Islamic history of art, in a totally new perspective.
Vegetal or floral motifs have long been the foundation of Islamic decoration. One of the essential elements in floral motifs, are stem scrolls. and since our main thought is about connections, Stem scroll is that curvy branch that connects all plant elements together.
